VÍCTOR ASANZA ARMIJOS

Víctor Asanza, Ph.D. (EL Oro - Ecuador, 1986). A seasoned researcher, specializing in fields such as Open-Source Processor, Edge Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Human-Machine Interaction (HMI), and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), with a primary focus on Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) research. He graduated with a degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering in 2010 from ESPOL, Ecuador. He earned a Master's in Automation and Industrial Control in 2013, followed by a Ph.D. in Applied Computer Science in 2022, both from the same institution. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at the Smart Data Analysis Systems Group (SDAS GROUP) since June 6th, 2019, he actively contributes to research programs focused on Embedded Artificial Intelligence (EAI), Digital Systems Design based on SystemVerilog/VHDL, and Open-Source RISC-V Processor.
